A 6 part Irish Language drama series broadcast on TG4 and BBC Northern Ireland. Co-funded by the Irish Language Broadcast Fund, a part of Northern Ireland Screen.

Set in 1985 and told from the point of view of Danny Doherty, now 33, it recounts poignantly his experiences as a young Belfast teenager during his first summer spent at Irish college in Donegal.

A cast of relative unknown teenage actors from Northern Ireland are joined by established names such as Gerard McSorley, Joan Sheehy, Frank Laverty, Paula McFettridge and Britta Smith.

Oisin O Murchu, a 14 yr old debutant from Belfast, plays the young Danny Doherty and is joined by Caomhain Mac Giolla Easpaig and Alison Franklin playing siblings Sean and Aoife Doherty.

A rocking soundtrack accompanies the series with al the best hits of the 80’s included.
