Our reality series Dushlán na Marcach is nearing it's conclusion. Filming has been taking place since early September as we have been putting 20 wannabe jockeys through their paces in the build up to the final big race at Naas Racecourse on November 12th. Out of an original 60 applicants we are now down to the final bunch who will race in the inaugural TG4 "Dushlan na Marcach" Stakes at Naas in the climax to our series.

Our wannabee's have been mentored on the way by top jocks Kevin Manning and Davy Riussell with Tucker Geraghty and Sussanne Macken putting them through their paces at Boot Camp up in County Meath at Tcukers  Pellettstown riding Centre. Those who successfully completed Boot Camp were then placed with top racehorse trainers Tony Martin, Gordon Elliott, Conor O'Dwyer and James Nash.before sitting for their Qualified Riders Licence tests with the Turf Club in late October.

Presented by Sean Ban Breathnach and Joe Connolly with Cathal Watters shooting and Directing on RED this high energy series is to air on TG4 in Spring 2012.
