Love is on the menu this autumn with Aperitíf, Abú Media’s brand-new dating series for TG4.
Filmed at the Iveagh Garden Hotel in Dublin, Aperitíf brings a fresh Irish-language twist to the world of dating, as singletons meet, mingle and discover whether a first encounter might lead to something more.
Guiding them through the excitement, nerves, laughter and occasional awkward moments are presenters Mairéad Ní Chuaig and Cúán De Búrca, who are hoping to make as many love matches as possible.
Aperitíf begins on Wednesday 23 September at 21:30 and continues for seven consecutive weeks on TG4.

ÉIRE & TAISTEAL – How Ireland Learned to Move
Monday 7 September | 21:00 | TG4 | 7 weeks
Our new seven-part documentary series Éire & Taisteal explores the extraordinary story of travel and transport in Ireland and how the ways we move have helped shape the country we live in today.
Across seven programmes, the series journeys through the development of Ireland’s roads, canals, railways, bicycles, motor cars, aviation and maritime travel.
Along the way we meet the engineers, inventors, pioneers and visionaries who transformed transport in Ireland and discover how each new development changed where people lived, worked and travelled.
From the Grand Canal and the great age of the railways to Henry Ford, Harry Ferguson, Aer Lingus and Ireland’s long relationship with the sea, Éire & Taisteal is a journey through Irish social, industrial and technological history.
The series begins on Monday 7 September at 21:00 on TG4 and runs for seven weeks.
